 KILMURRIN:  2 HOOPOES in garden at Sycamore View, W of crossroads up valley from Kilmurrin Cove; birds then flew down into valley (CN).

Nr CARICK-ON-SUIR:  Several House Martins over the river just upstream from Carrick (FJ).

TRAMORE BACKSTRAND: Sand Martin, Swallow, White Wagtail, female Wheatear, Shoveler & Tufted Duck at Lisselan, also Orange-tip, 2 Peacock & a lot of Small Tortoiseshell butterflies there (AJ).

LISMORE:  House Martin on Blackwater - 1st confirmed report of year for Co Waterford (ADM).

TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  GLOSSY IBIS again at Clohernagh, roosting in trees with Little Egrets; 1st-winter BONAPARTE'S GULL, Ruff, 3 Shoveler (2m & 1 f), pair of Tufted Duck & male Wheatear at Lisselan; male Blackcap & 3 Chiffchaffs along lane to Saleen (DS).
