DUNGARVAN: Black-headed Gull (Left leg yellow colour-ringed 238B), ringed at Lough Mask, Mayo in 2007 on beach in front of the Gold Coast Hotel. This bird was previously seen in July 2009 at nearby Ballinclamper.
In the very same area, a colour-ringed Bar-tailed Godwit was seen, believed to be part of a Dutch ringing scheme. Awaiting details of this record. (MC)
