KNOCKMEALDOWN MOUNTAINS: Grasshopper Warbler heard nr Bael Loch, Crossbills in wood behind Ballysaggart, & a male Hen Harrier (having a fight with 2 Pheasants!) elsewhere (AM).

Nr NEW ROSS (Co Wexford): Greater White-toothed Shrew found dead at Ballagh, Adamstown (AT) - probably another new county for the species.
