DUNGARVAN: 2 BLACK-NECKED GREBES & Long-tailed Duck off Ballynacourty pier (MC), also 109 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Red-throated Divers, Great Northern Diver & 26 Red-breasted Mergansers there (MAD, PMW); 2 Black Redstarts (incl male) in town centre (FO'C); total 1870 Brent Geese around the bay (incl 890 at Ballyneety, 625 at Duckspool & 270 at Killongford), SPOONBILL inside Cunnigar (MAD, PMW).
CLONEA STRAND: Total just 33 Brent Geese, 5 Great Northern Divers & 1 Red-throated Diver; 1 Purple Sandpiper & adult Mediterranean Gull at Ballinclamper; 3 Whimbrel at Ballinard; 1 Common Scoter flew SW off Ballyvoyle (MAD, PMW).
