RINCREW: Adult Yellow-legged Gull at Tourig estuary, roosting Cork side, flew inland Waterford side (MC).

BLACKWATER VALLEY: c280 Whooper Swans; Coot & 2 male Tufted Duck at Ballyneroon (MC).

BUNMAHON: 55 Teal & 20 Wigeon (high counts for River Mahon), a Coot (site first?) and 3 Bar-tailed Godwits (locally scarce) (DW).

BALLYSHUNNOCK RESERVOIR: 3 Pintail (2 male + 1 female), 3 Gadwall & 8 Shoveler; lakes partly frozen (CF).
